I Love My Canyon Outfitter 35. The sandstone color is utterly stunning in person and a real eye catcher. I use this cooler on the construction site to provide drinks for everyone and it's worked wonders over the past month, since I first bought it. Premium materials all around. A lot of my coworkers are interested in buying one now. I only have to refill ice once throughout the work week (for me it's 6 days) and I am all set. I would highly recommend any of canyons products. I own the outfitter 35 v2, outfitter 55 v1, pro 65 and prospector 85 and couldn't be any happier. I would also like to add how impressed I am with how fast Canyon ships out products. A++

This is my first Canyon Cooler and I couldn't be happier. It's built like a tank, looks awesome online but even better in person and keeps food cold for days! So glad I decided to pick this up instead of brand y. If you choose to buy a Canyon cooler, you will not be disappointed!
Took it out for the maiden voyage camping for a couple days at the coast. Was exactly the size I've been looking for for a smaller cooler for short trips. Everything stayed nice and cold and we had a great time!

So much for the hassle free warranty. I purchased the 35q model and it came with a twisted lid. I made an inquiry and it was denied. I was told to “give it gentle taps” that was the fix. When i went to return it because of this bad service i was greeted with crickets.
Not a way to earn a customer, especially one local to Arizona.

We’re sorry your experience wasn't what you expected. Looking at your account, it appears you filed a warranty claim for a defect rather than a standard return.
The 0.125" variance on the lid is not a defect—it is completely normal for rotomolded products. This manufacturing process sacrifices a tiny bit of microscopic precision in exchange for massive durability and insulation, meaning the cooler functions exactly as intended. If your thinking this was injection molded then you would have been correct, but Injection molding doesn't have seamless rugged strength or as dense an insulation.
The beauty of this cooler is in its performance and toughness, and we'd love for you to try it out. We have almost 10,000 five star reviews for a reason . Since you have clearly decided the cooler is not to your liking your return is in process and will be issued shortly.

Used first time - cooling capacity was impressive - after three days internal temp increased to only 38deg and ice was still 2/3 still there. Also the rugged construction should be lasting.
Love everything about it. Nice the walls are straight on the inside. I have the basket to go with it and it’s nice to keep treats out of the ice water. I keep it stocked daily with cold beverages , I live in the southwest corner of Arizona where there is no shortage of heat and this cooler keeps my drinks ice cold
The outfitter is great! I was out camping for 3 days and it kept all my food and drinks cold. Still had a little ice when I got home!
Love the unique size and shape of this cooler. I looked at a bunch of other options for my jockey box build, but the internal dimensions were all too small or angled to fit my kegland coils. The straight walls of this design were perfect and gave me room to spare. It’s a great design for a jockey box build, the front feels like it was made to house 7/8” shanks. On top of that it keeps ice forever. Also the GHT drain thread was clutch for my application. Had to swap out the soft hose gasket that came with it for a thicker and harder one, but it depends what kind of fittings you use. If you’re looking to mod a cooler, this one has excellent bones to do so!

Awesome cooler, keeps food and drinks cold all day even in the desert sun
Bought because of color lilac purple-spontaneous purchase- already have larger in tan, I live in the desert needed something to bring the ICE CREAM home, It rides in the trunk. summers coming.
I love this cooler. It's well made and the shape makes good use of space, there's no wasted space using odd shaped designs. It's the perfect size for my Fish N Mate Sr fishing cart. My only suggestion is to add a built in ruler on the lid so I can accurately measure my catch.

The straight wall design is better for both organizing food in the ice chest and the ice chest inside the vehicle. The latches are easy to operate. Bear Certification is Great in our area. We recommend and will be buying another cooler from this company.
We like the straight walled block design. More efficient use of space. The gasket seals really well. It can actually be difficult to open the ice chest as it gets cooler due to the great seal and the poorly designed finger access to get under the lid. They need to make the finger access better for people with larger hands or wearing gloves. We are having trouble with condensation under the cooler. We have not had this problem with our other premium coolers. The exterior finish is not as well executed as I would expect.
I reached out to Canyon Coolers by email twice about the condensation issue. I have not received any response from the company. So I now have concerns about their customer service.
The weather is very cool here right now so I don't yet have an opinion on how well it preserves ice compared to other premium coolers.
Really like the design and the dual handles. Lots of space for drinks, food, snacks etc. The blue looks fantastic. I appreciate the amount of space without the added weight of some other manufacturers.
Haven't tested for ice rentention yet, but based on what I see, I have no doubt the cooler will meet my expectations.
Great cooler
So far so good. Haven't actually used it yet, but it meets expectations so far.
I got the lilac color, from my dad for my birthday, and love it. Finally I have my own cooler that no one in the family, all boys, will use except for me. Couldn't have asked for a better cooler and it keeps beef frozen for hours when picking up a whole cow from Nebraska and driving it back to Colorado.

I already have an Outfitter 75 and 55 and I absolutely love them! Bought this 35 for my UTV. Fits perfectly in the back! Keeps everything cold on long rides in Southern AZ!

I have not used this cooler yet. This is why I gave it a four for the review. The seal is definitely better than leading competitors, and seem structurally built better. Can't wait to use it.

Love the look and feel of this cooler. Appears to be well made and we look forward to using it this summer! As, we will be camping in National Parks and near country, I am hoping that the IGBC certification is still valid! I did a water leak test and did get a little splash out thru the lid…. I was hoping it would be water tight!

This cooler was bought primarily for my wife, to take to family picnics, or when her and her mom check out new wineries. She loves the lilac purple color and she loves the side table/cutting board option we purchased with it, because she often takes smoked salmon and cream cheese pinwheel type roll ups, that are rolled into flour tortillas on her outings. She loves having a place to cut the roll ups into bite size pieces. Everyone loves those things! Everyone loves both our bigger 50qt cooler's similar cutting board/side table from another company, but it's often too big for just day outings, so now she has a smaller cooler set up the same way. Now everyone loves the side table on this 35qt Outfitter cooler. They think the side table feature is such a clever feature for a cooler. The ice retention is really remarkable for it's size, plus she can now actually store bottles of wine standing upright too. The built quality is great, really solidly built! This cooler will be getting a lot of use!
