Great cooler good price and it kept the ice solid with minimal melting for four days with bear meat and a hide coming back from Maine on a long extended weekend holiday no issues very happy with our purchase. Thank you for a great product and your warranty is the best in the industry.
I have had my cooler for about 3 weeks now and I can absolutely say that the money I spent was worth every single penny!!! The ice holds for about 4 days and that is inside my truck which out here in AZ it gets out inside the truck. I am definitely going to be buying another cooler for work. I am so impressed and beyond happy to have bought my canyon cooler especially being that the business is here in Arizona.
Very beefy cooler, service was acceptable
Love the cooler… thanks to my wife, keeps a block of ice for days. I love the look… the tray that keeps the vegetables cold but not wet and the divider that turns into a table for my drinks! Very satisfied with the product so far! Now where is that bear at?
Works as advertised. Keeps food and drinks cool. It's real heavy when loaded, but that's the tradeoff for super cooling capabilities.
I filled my cooler last Thursday night and took it to Big Sur for a hang gliding trip over the three-day weekend. It is now Monday, and I have approximately 60% of my ice left. Of course, Big Sur was unseasonably warm, and the cooler spent its fair share of time under a black tonneau cover, baking in the sun. It’s well-built, extremely rugged, and exceeded my expectations!
Christopher,
Funny, I was just listening to a friends hang gliding adventures around Flagstaff, over lunch yesterday. Its always an honor to hear about all the epic trips our gear gets to be a small part of. We have the best clients on earth. Cheers to blue skies and soft landings.

I've been very pleased with this cooler. I had been using a yeti 45 cooler for a few years and was happy with it, but I needed something a little bigger. After quite a bit of research, I landed on this canyon. For me, it's the perfect size. I always use a frozen water jug in conjunction with ice. The jug works well but takes up a good bit of space. With this cooler, I can fit the jug, food, and drinks without any problem. Even fully loaded, I can lift this in and out of my truck (it's heavy but manageable). If you're on the fence, just buy it. Perfect size and great quality.
Very well designed. Love the hardware.
Very well built
I just received the cooler and haven't even had a chance to test it out yet. The build quality in the design are excellent.
Great! Love the features especially flat side walls, cutting board and color. Quality is fantastic. Held ice better than any cooler I have ever used on a 6 day camping trip. Would love a bigger size but they are heavy, but I know that is standard with these type of coolers. Wish they could be lighter and still same quality, Will definitely recommend to others and buy again. I am now a forever Canyon Cooler customer! Looking for my next Canyon cooler I have to have!
Great cooler! Flush sides are key for sliding in and out of the truck.
We purchased this cooler on the recommendation of our son-in-law. He has two of them and loves them. We could not decide on which one, however we landed on the pro 65. It is a bit heavy for us, however we live in a small town so trips to Boise and to Costco has already made this cooler a must have. We loaded up fish, frozen items and everything was still very cool on the 2 hour drive home. We can deal with the weight of it, we know it is insulated above and beyond our expectations.
Liked older latches; not a fan of new latch. It's more like Yeti latches that I hate.
The cooler kept ice for four days in the Grand Canyon! Food for five people remained cold throughout the trip- we are recommending Canyon Coolers to everyone we know!
I love the size. I love the construction and the look now for function. I took it down at desert River and then let it sit in my drift boat in the sun for two days afterwards still have about half or more of my ice left, and it was cube dice, which doesn't hold well generally so yes I am pleased. We'll see how it holds up with use.
Great product. Processing and shipping was fast.
Such a beefy cooler. This is my first cooler upgrade ever, happy that I have found our forever cooler.
Just shipped today, so have not used yet, but looks great and no shipping issues
I haven't used this one yet but I used one from a friend and it was good
I haven't used it yet.
This cooler far exceeded my expectations. Build quality and materials seem to be top notch - I can tell it's going to last a LONG time! I absolutely love the sandstone colorway, and it's even cooler in person. Ice retention was incredible on the first (of many) 4 day voyages in Arizona. I love how it came with an included divider/tray; I was able to conveniently put my meat on once side with everything else on the other, slightly larger side. I used pre-frozen water bottles as my base, icepacks between food and on top, and only had to use one bag of ice to supplement; it worked so well my vacuum sealed steak was still frozen the morning of day 4. Well done, Canyon. You have a customer for life!
Love it. Holds ice very well. Lighter than expected. I will purchase another in the future!
I recently took this cooler tent camping in Yosemite. We stayed three nights with weather in the 80s. I pre chilled the cooler with some ice the night before packing it. I also put some frozen ice packets on the bottom before packing it full and backfilling with one 20 lbs bag of ice. I still had Ice upon my return at the end of day four. The cooler held up great and am very happy with my purchase. I also purchased the large catering pan for dry good storage and love the functionality with the divider. This cooler is definitely well worth the money. Love that it has a no hassle lifetime warranty and that I'm supporting a small business.
Canyon Coolers are the best! Excellent customer service. I needed this cooler shipped to my boat and they handled the address change, after the shipping label was printed, in a highly efficient and professional manner. They even followed up with phone calls to be sure it was shipped correctly! I tested my new 65qt by placing 8 lbs of ice in an empty cooler. The ice lasted 3 days with an ambient temp of 90°! Now I fill 1/3 with food items, 2/3 with 16 lbs of ice and everything stays cold and fresh for 5 - 7 days. This is the best quality cooler if ever owned. Well worth the money!
It's a 4 star only because I haven't used it yet!
Love the cooler. Unfortunately had damage on cooler as soon as I got it out of the box. There was no damage on the shipping box so had to happen before it even shipped. Other than that is great! I even reached out soon as I got
It and have not heard back
Quality product great latches and handles. Very rugged construction and keeps cold very well, ice lasting a long time. I would buy more of these coolers.
Love the cooler from first looks but has damage fresh from the box!
We now have 3 Canyon coolers in a variety of sizes. They have proved to be the best at keeping ice in hot weather and this new cooler was the same. We just took it on a 3 day raft trip with 100 degree weather and still had ice at the end of the trip. We like that this size is a little more manageable when we don't need our biggest cooler, but still holds a fair amount.
I bought the PRO 45, used it for a long weekend, and then waited for a sale on the PRO 65. Gave my Yetis to my daughter's family. The PRO 65 is in the garage, waiting for really long weekend. I don't foresee a need for anything larger.
Besides the ice retention, the strong point for me is the vertical interior walls. There's no wasted packing space.
