Itching to break free from their office and have some fun, Cooler Runnings was born when the Canyon Coolers crew and fellow brands decided to break routine one winter and race some coolers, have a few cold ones, and get out of the office to have a good time!

Today, the event features 30 teams racing in a double elimination bracket for the ultimate glory of "Fastest sled in Arizona."

In advance, teams are given a Canyon Coolers 150qt cooler body to transform into fastest, wackiest, and most imaginative spectacles of speed they have to offer.

It's not just about fun - its about giving back. This event has grown into a fantastic fundraiser for the Flagstaff Family Food Center, a charity that's all about helping folks in need.

The cost to enter a returning team and receive a cooler sled body is $600.Proceeds are donated to Flagstaff Family Food Center.

All employees of team are allowed free admittance to event.

As a registered race team at the 4th Annual Coolers Runnings, you will be entered amongst 30 teams in a thrilling and fun race to compete for the fastest cooler sled in the state.

You are the vets in this race. Channel your inner 'Michelangelo' and give those sleds a remodel, reintroduce a modern classic, or give 'er the old ground up re-work. Whatever you create, we are looking forward to having you back for another fun year out of the office!

Get ready to channel your inner snow and speed demons because as a new team you will be given a massive 150qt Cooler Body straight from Canyon Coolers to kickstart your bobsled journey. From there, it's time to turn that hunk of ice-keeping goodness into a sleek, stylish speed machine. All you need is a helmet and a whole lot of imagination - that cooler is your blank canvas!

Well, we don't actually have any more rules. We're about having a good time and keeping it fun while enjoying an afternoon out of the office with friends and family!

Please do keep safety in mind as you design and build your sled.A 150qt cooler weights 61lbs out of the box and is certainly capable of some damage. Sleds are very susceptible to forcefully tipping over, rolling, and ramming into objects. Please consider these factors as you create safe and fun sled for your team. Cutting out the back of the cooler or creating bail point are all good things to incorporate to ensure the safety of your team members.

We are looking forward to another year of wacky, sleek, and striking designs as we kick of Cooler Runnings 2024!

Races will start at 3:30PM sharp.

A double elimination bracket will be created and will feature all teams for a total of nearly 60 races. Our MC and event volunteers will aid and facilitating the tournament.

There will be one team per track (Tracks 1 and 2) and winners will be decided by the judge at the bottom of the course.

Please make sure to listen for your race to be called so you can be at the top of the hill and ready to race when it is your turn.

Teams should plan to have members available to aid in getting the sled up the hill and for push off at the start of the race.

Three awards will be handed out at the award ceremony at the end of the event (7PM).

First and foremost, as a sponsoring team you are directly helping to support the local community by aiding the Flagstaff Family Food Center in their mission to provide hunger relief and children's literacy programs.

Your logo will be proudly displayed on the event page for Cooler Runnings. Please make sure we have your logo so we can have it represented.

1. As a race team, hundreds of local attendees, out of town guests, and other brands will see your company and sled represented at this exciting event.

2. Your logo will also be proudly displayed on an event banner with our team sponsors at the event

All sponsoring teams are invited to bring a banner to hang in designated areas at the event. These will be on display all day.

If you wish to participate, bring a banner of your company to hang between 2PM and 3PM the day of.
